The reef fishing didn’t disappoint anyone at all. We caught some big yellowtail snapper all week, and mixed in some big muttons and grouper. Dick Washburn and his cohorts fished two days this week and the second day Dick hooked a big kingfish that gave him all he wanted. It all but spooled him, but Dick didn’t give up. He worked it back to the boat after about twenty minutes. Finally, aftyer about another ten minutes of give and take, i finally gaffed it and put it on ice. It weighed out at a nice 38lbs. Not bad for catching it on a snapper rod spooled with 12lb. test. Well, Until Next Time…..Capt. Jeff
